Fernanda Canales

Fernanda Canales, founder of Fernanda Caneles Arquitectura, studied architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, before completing a Master’s degree in Theory and Criticism at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB–UPC) and a PhD at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM). Her architectural work has received numerous international awards and has been exhibited at institutions including the Royal Academy of Arts in London, the ifa Galerie in Stuttgart, and the Venice Architecture Biennale. She is the author of several books and essays and has taught architecture and urbanism at the Yale School of Architecture, Princeton University School of Architecture, Harvard Graduate School of Design, and the Politecnico di Milano.

Leandro Alegre is a Uruguayan architect and founding partner of TATÚ Arquitectura, established in 2016. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism at UDELAR in Montevideo, he has led the firm in competitions and international biennials. TATÚ Arquitectura won first prize in the 2017 "Lanzarote Music Factory" international ideas competition in Spain and represented Uruguay at the 2021 Latin American Architecture Biennial in Pamplona. In 2024, their Memorial del Ex Penal Punta Carretas was highlighted at the Buenos Aires Architecture Biennial. Their project Valdivia, showcased at the XVIII Latin American Architecture Seminar in Chiloé, Chile, reflects their commitment to sustainable architecture and local materials. The firm also earned recognition in Uruguay’s 2023 Wooden Housing Competition. Rooted in collaboration and co-creation, TATÚ Arquitectura adapts each project to its context, solidifying its reputation nationally and internationally.

KWY studio

Luise Marter collaborates with KWY studio in Lisbon, Portugal where she works on multidisciplinary projects at a variety of scales. Born in Germany, she studied architecture at the UDK in Berlin from 2009 to 2016 where she also worked as a student assistant at the department of Digital and Experimental Design. Luise worked at KWY in Berlin and Lisbon from 2014 to 2016 and in Basel at Christ & Gantenbein, from 2016 to 2018. She values work born from collaboration and process-driven methodology in practice.

Nuno Pimenta runs a transdisciplinary practice in Porto, with a portfolio that spans temporary architecture, installation, public art, exhibition design and performance. His work focuses on the appropriation and subversion of common construction elements and techniques for the creation of social and political narratives.
