The meditation cabin design reflects a careful consideration of its natural surroundings, set in a peaceful forest landscape. Inspired by the idea of a fallen tree, the cabin symbolizes stability and calm, appealing to individuals looking for a place to reflect. The structure exhibits a balanced symmetry, where the section aligns with the floor plan, enhancing both the visual appeal and the experience of those who use it.

Design Concept
The overarching concept focuses on creating a harmonious relationship with the environment. The cabin fits well within its wooded location, designed to engage users in moments of quiet and introspection. By translating the metaphor of a fallen tree into a physical form, the design encourages meditation and peace, integrating all necessary elements without overwhelming the senses.

Structural Elements
Structural integrity is provided through the use of 100mm wood log rafters and 200mm wood beams and columns. These materials contribute to the cabin’s strength while allowing it to blend naturally into the landscape. Every component is chosen to provide support while maintaining a calm and simple appearance, which helps foster a tranquil atmosphere for those seeking to escape the demands of daily life.

Functional Features
The cabin includes practical features such as a rainwater collector and solar panels, enhancing its sustainability. These elements fulfill essential needs while aiming to reduce environmental impact. A fold-down bed allows for versatile use of space. The kitchenette, equipped with a small cooler, sink, and induction burner, makes it easier for occupants to prepare meals, striking a balance between functionality and minimalism.

Comfort and Hygiene
Heating is provided by a wood stove, adding warmth and comfort, especially in cooler weather. A composting toilet reflects an eco-friendly approach to sanitation, making the cabin more sustainable. An integrated sink offers essential hygiene facilities without compromising the compact design, ensuring that practical living needs are met without detracting from the cabin’s focus on meditation and relaxation.

Attention to detail brings a thoughtful integration with the environment. Each design choice enhances the experience of calm and reflection, inviting occupants to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature surrounding them.
