The Small House Embracing the Secret Gardens represents a contemporary architectural approach to integrating residential living with natural landscapes. Situated in a suburban area, this project is designed to function as a private retreat for individuals or couples, fostering a close relationship with the surrounding environment. The layout features two distinct gardens—one accessible from the sleeping area, enhancing privacy and tranquility, and another adjacent to the living quarters, promoting interaction and relaxation.

Spatially, the architecture strategically organizes interior and exterior environments, creating seamless transitions that invite occupants to engage with nature. The house's form responds to both functional and aesthetic criteria, incorporating angular shapes that facilitate light penetration and ventilation while optimizing views. The design notably prioritizes user-centric experiences, ensuring that all essential areas remain easily accessible.

Dynamic Architectural Approach

This project’s architectural strategy embraces sculptural qualities, with varying rooflines and geometrical forms that distinguish it from conventional residential designs. The integration of gardens enhances the overall living experience, encouraging outdoor activities and natural engagement. The main living area is defined by large glass panels that not only optimize views but also allow natural light to permeate the space.

The materials employed in the construction—concrete, wood, glass, and steel—contribute to a modern aesthetic while ensuring durability and functionality. The choice of wood provides warmth and a natural feel, aligning with the project's goal of fostering a connection with the surroundings.

Thoughtful Spatial Organization

Internally, the layout is characterized by a logical flow between spaces. The private garden linked to the bedroom offers a serene outdoor escape, while the open garden adjoining the living area is designed for social interactions. The kitchens and bathrooms are efficiently positioned to maintain functionality without disrupting the living experience.

Additionally, the use of varied floor heights and flexible interiors supports diverse activities within the same space, enhancing the architectural narrative. This innovative approach invites exploration and contributes to the overall user experience, distinguishing the project from standard residential offerings.
