The Kemeri National Park Observation Tower is an installation designed to strengthen the connection between visitors and the natural environment of Kemeri National Park. It serves as an observation point, focusing on accessibility and the engagement of all visitors, regardless of their abilities. This structure provides a place for exploration through the five senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing.

SENSORY ENGAGEMENT

The tower's cylindrical shape enhances visibility and offers varied experiences for its users. Visitors can appreciate the park's beauty from different heights, using telescopes to focus their views on specific features. The ground floor promotes tactile interactions, allowing people to connect physically with the marsh area and its natural textures.

MULTISENSORY DESIGN

The design incorporates several elements to stimulate the senses beyond just sight. Aromatic plants, such as rosemary, have been included to enrich the scent of the environment, making it more engaging. There are also places for visitors to taste local specialties, including honey, blending local culture with nature. The sound design captures the natural noises of the park, creating an audio atmosphere that complements the visual experience.

HARMONY WITH NATURE

The Kemeri National Park Observation Tower aims to fit in with its surroundings, creating a sense of calm. The structure is designed to look like it is floating within the fog, showcasing the unique environmental features of the area.

The architecture encourages inclusivity, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the sensory experiences offered. The concept of a "reciprocating" structure focuses on community and connection, highlighting the intention to foster interaction with the landscape. The tower is not just a place for views; it embodies a deeper integration with nature, enhancing the experience for all who visit.
