The Lighthouse architectural project is an observation tower designed to facilitate user engagement with the surrounding landscape. This project prioritizes both aesthetic appeal and functionality, enabling visitors to appreciate expansive views while participating in various social interactions. The structure is intended for a rural context, integrating seamlessly into natural settings.

The observation tower is composed of five distinct levels, each offering different spatial experiences. The unique design features include a series of circular floors with undulating edges, creating an organic form that distinguishes it from conventional observation towers. The top level is enclosed, providing panoramic views, while the lower levels encourage outdoor interaction with balconies designed for relaxation.

Unique Design Elements

This project employs a bold architectural language characterized by its verticality and fluidity. The use of Corten steel enhances durability while rust-like patina allows the structure to blend with its environment over time. The integration of glass on the top level maximizes visibility while maintaining a comfortable climate-controlled space, responding to both functional and aesthetic needs.

The circulation within the tower is facilitated by a central spiral staircase, which promotes a continuous flow between the levels. This design encourages visitors to engage with the space in a dynamic manner, transforming the ascent into a journey of discovery.

Functional Aspects

The Lighthouse serves multiple functions, catering to diverse user needs. Each floor facilitates specific activities, from quiet contemplation to social gatherings on the balconies. The arrangement of spaces encourages its use as a community hub, allowing visitors to engage with each other and the natural landscape in meaningful ways.

The architectural configuration emphasizes environmental sensitivity, drawing attention to the relationship between the structure and its surroundings. By adopting forms that reflect natural elements, the design reinforces the connection between the built environment and the landscape.
