The project centered around the Mango Vinyl Hub aims to create a vibrant and inviting space for artistic expression and community interaction. Located near Cesis Castle, the design enhances the connectivity to its surroundings while fostering a cultural environment that serves both music enthusiasts and the broader community. The concept focuses on providing a central hub that facilitates engagement among locals and visitors, transforming the area into an accessible cultural center.

Mango Vinyl Hub

The Mango Vinyl Hub serves as the centerpiece of the development, creating a welcoming location for those who appreciate music and vinyl records. The design introduces multiple entry points, allowing easy access and promoting foot traffic in and around the block. This change encourages people to explore the area, breaking down barriers that previously separated the space from the community.

Inner Street

A key feature of the design is the inner street that connects different facilities within the block. This path begins at an amphitheater, serving as a social gathering point for performances and events. The inner street not only promotes movement but also creates a lively atmosphere, inviting residents and visitors to congregate and enjoy the space.

Diverse Facilities

This project includes a variety of specialized facilities, such as a Guitar Lab, Music Library, Ballet Center, Theater, Art Gallery, Lecture Hall, Music Studio, and Music Store. Each space caters to specific interests and activities, aiming to foster collaboration and cultural exchange. This blend of facilities allows for diverse artistic pursuits, creating a rich experience for everyone involved.

Material Considerations

While details on materials are not extensively covered, plans suggest a focus on functionality. Proposed uses include vitrified tiles and glass façades for enclosed areas, ensuring durability and an appealing look. In the theater, acoustic installations will enhance sound quality, playing a vital role in the performance experience and contributing to the overall enjoyment for both artists and audiences.

The design emphasizes creating a cultural hub that encourages participation and connection among individuals. Community spaces are integrated into the layout, allowing for gatherings and reinforcing the sense of belonging that is vital for the neighborhood. The thoughtful arrangement of communal areas adds to the overall design, providing opportunities for interaction and engagement.
