The sixth Architect’s Chair Competition, developed in partnership with Stockholm Furniture Fair, invites architects and designers from around the world to create their own signature chair, showcasing their creativity, versatility, and design vision. Drawing inspiration from iconic architects such as Charles and Ray Eames, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Marcel Breuer, and Arne Jacobsen, participants have the opportunity to contribute to the rich tradition of architect-designed furniture while engaging with one of the most influential events in the global design industry.
This special edition offers participants a unique platform to present their ideas to an international audience. Competition winners will have their designs exhibited at Stockholm Furniture Fair, while the final evaluation process will take place in connection with the fair itself, bringing selected projects into direct dialogue with leading architects, designers, manufacturers, and design professionals.
