The Legendary Bird Home / Edition 2 competition was the second in a series that looked to raise awareness for global environmental issues. Run in collaboration with Birdly, participants were tasked with designing attention-grabbing bird houses built from sustainable and easily available materials.

Liliana Krzycka, Rafał Pieszko, and Szymon Tobias from Poland won first prize for their Dziupla project. A ready-to-assemble kit intended for urban settings, Dziupla offers a fun, interactive experience for both birds and humans, encouraging participation, awareness, creativity, and neighbourliness.

Second prize was awarded to Matthew Mudd from the UK for his Urban Bird Sanctuary, a hexagonal wooden bird home with an integrated planter. Third prize went to Xavier Bucchianeri from France for his Symbiosis, a wooden bird house with a top shelf for integrated planting, intended to be fixed to urban guardrails or balconies.
